Job Responsibilities:

Conceptual & Theme Design Stage

·        Research and develop design concepts, themes, and mood boards that align with client requirements and project identity.

·        Analyze and define spatial requirements to create functional and aesthetic interior layouts.

·        Select primary materials, color palettes, and finishes to establish the overall look and feel of the project.

·        Prepare creative presentations to communicate design intent effectively to clients and stakeholders.

Bidding Stage

·        Review tender drawings and assess constructability.

·        Identify technical risks and optimize typical construction details.

·        Prepare and support the Bid Technical Proposal.

Drawing Development Stage

·        Determine and optimize construction details.

·        Analyze potential technical variations and alternative solutions.

·        Evaluate technical feasibility and cost-effectiveness of design proposals.

·        Plan and control the shop drawing development schedule.

·        Review and approve detailed, fabrication, and shop drawings.

·        Coordinate with clients to confirm construction interfaces.

·        Interpret and manage specification deviations.

Technical Method

·        Provide technical support and consultation for method statements.

·        Advise on key construction procedures and technical solutions.

·        Participate in technical clarification meetings with clients and consultants.

·        Support technical document submissions and conduct technical briefings.

Team Management & Design Optimization

·        Manage daily operations of the design team.

·        Assign, coordinate, and monitor design tasks and workloads.

·        Control and ensure design quality and compliance with standards.

·        Allocate design resources efficiently.

·        Develop and improve design standards, workflows, and control systems.

·        Evaluate performance and support development of design personnel.

·        Optimize the organizational structure of the design department.

·        Standardize technical outputs and best practices.

·        Implement new technologies and innovative solutions in design development.

Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related fields.

·        Minimum 10+ years of progressive work experience in design management for construction, interior, or architectural projects.

·        Proven ability in Conceptual Design, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and design coordination.

·        Strong technical background and a deep understanding of construction methods and interior materials.

·        Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a high-performing design team.

·        Good communication and negotiation skills in coordinating with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
