Design and draft engineer

Position: Design and Drafting Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D engineering drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other relevant CAD software.

• Develop detailed mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, and manufacturing drawings.

• Interpret engineering specifications, technical drawings, and design requirements.

• Prepare component drawings with accurate dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications.

• Coordinate with production, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure design accuracy.

• Revise and update drawings based on engineering changes and customer requirements.

• Ensure drawings comply with engineering standards and company specifications.

• Maintain drawing records, design documents, and technical files.

• Support production teams in resolving design and drawing-related issues.

• Ensure timely completion of assigned design and drafting projects.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.

• Knowledge of 2D drafting and 3D modelling.

• Understanding of mechanical engineering drawings and GD&T.

• Knowledge of engineering materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in design and drafting, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing company.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
