What they need
We are looking for a design and estimation engineer to join our team. The responsibilities associated with the role include:
Design and prepare cost estimates for all fire alarm and firefighting systems such as : Fire alarm system, Clean Agent System, Fire Pump, Sprinkler systems etc. for fit-out jobs, projects such as warehouses, residential buildings and more
Prepare accurate cost estimates accounting for material, labor and all other costs.
Perform site visits to identify requirements for preparing quotations
Collaborate with Sales team to provide technical guidance during client interactions
Collaborate with project management team to identify potential challenges and propose solutions
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelors in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience creating design and estimates for fire protection and firefighting systems
Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD
Strong understanding of fire protection codes, standards and regulations (NFPA, UAE Civil Defense etc.)
Excellent communication skills
