Design & Estimation Engineer – EE/Civil (Solar Cell/Civil/EE)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive site surveys to assess project potential and installation site conditions.

• Perform technical feasibility analyses for electrical systems, civil works, and SCADA systems to evaluate project viability.

• Design solar energy systems including photovoltaic (PV) arrays, inverters, battery energy storage systems, and related electrical components. This includes system layout planning, equipment sizing, and system performance optimization.

• Prepare detailed drawings and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for electrical, civil, and SCADA systems.

• Develop technical documents, reports, and engineering drawings related to the design, installation, and operation of solar energy systems, including construction drawings and equipment specifications.

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all technical documentation.

• Collaborate with the Sales Engineering team to support technical proposal preparation and sales activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Strong understanding of Solar PV systems, energy technologies, and related products/services, with at least 8 years of experience in solar system design.

• Possession of a Professional Engineering License is must.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with strong adaptability and resilience under pressure.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and own a vehicle, as occasional travel may be required for client meetings or industry-related activities.

• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, and other solar-related applications.
