Design & Product Developer (Assistant Manager)

About the role

Our client is looking for an Assistant Product Manager in HK to supporting the development of clothing and accessories. The person will be responsible in product strategy, trend research, design development, and product execution.

Key responsibilities

• Support product strategy and help deliver sales and growth targets
• Research UK and global fashion trends and identify new product opportunities
• Collaborate closely with UK Buying and Design teams
• Create design concepts, CADs, and design packs using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Assist with seasonal range presentations in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and the UK
• Work with Merchandising, Technical, and Supplier teams to ensure timely sampling, fitting, quality, and cost targets
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and help resolve development issues efficiently

About you

• Experience in Fashion Design, Buying, Sourcing, Product Development, or a related field
• Exposure to UK, European, or US fashion markets is preferred
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite; AI design tools are a plus
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Commercially minded, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
