About the Role
Rebuffr Systems Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical product cum drafting engineer
with hands-on experience in mechanical design, sheet metal fabrication, electrical panel
design, structural design, and industrial container design.
The ideal candidate should be proficient in SolidWorks and capable of preparing accurate,
manufacturing-ready engineering drawings while coordinating with fabrication and
manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Create detailed 2D engineering drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks.
Design sheet metal components, electrical panel enclosures, panel boxes, and
mechanical assemblies.
Prepare fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing drawings with appropriate dimensions,
tolerances, and material specifications.
Develop mechanical designs for LT and HT electrical panels, including enclosure layouts
and fabrication details.
Prepare structural and industrial container design drawings as per project requirements.
Ensure designs are practical, cost-effective, and suitable for manufacturing and
fabrication.
Coordinate with engineering, production, and fabrication teams to resolve design-related
issues.
Revise drawings based on project requirements and production feedback.
Perform basic quality-checking activities and maintain accurate engineering
documentation.
Required Skills
Mechanical design and drafting. Understanding of fitments, clamps and fixtures.
Sheet metal design and fabrication.
Electrical panel and panel box design.
Manufacturing processes and fabrication techniques.
SolidWorks: 3D modeling, assembly modeling, sheet metal design, and 2D drawing
generation.
AutoCAD drafting.
Engineering drawing interpretation, dimensional tolerances, and BOM preparation.

Preferred Skills
Preference will be given to candidates with practical experience in:
LT and HT electrical panel design.
Electrical panel layout and enclosure design.
Structural design and fabrication.
Container / Skid design and fabrication.
Sheet metal development, bending, cutting, welding, and assembly.
Preparing manufacturing-ready drawings for panels, structures, and containers.
Coordinating with manufacturing and fabrication teams to ensure design
feasibility.
Knowledge of structural welding.
Vendor coordination and project scheduling.
Educational Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant qualification.
Experience
23 years of relevant experience in mechanical drafting, sheet metal design, panel
design, fabrication, structural design, or container design.
Minimum 2 years of project experience in relevant field.
Candidates with hands-on SolidWorks experience and a strong understanding of
manufacturing requirements will be preferred.
