What they need
The design and release engineer (DRE) is responsible for managing the entire life cycle of their respective components and sub-assemblies
- A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited school or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in propulsion systems, automatic transmissions or related field
- Knowledge of axle systems or components
- Previous experience as a DRE in OEM and tier 1 suppliers to OEMs
- Proficiency in GD&T, creating drawings of components and virtual analysis
