Design Architect

Key responsibilities

• Translate abstract ideas into sketches, models and 3D rendering.
• Meet with clients to present design options, gather feedback and adjust accordingly to meet expectations
• Choose specific finishes, building materials that fits the design intent but yet meet project budget.
• Work alongside structural, civil and mechanical engineers to ensure the concept is viable.
• Co-ordinate with Quantity Surveyors on tendered materials, budget, and work on the design.
• Work collaboratively with building architects, engineers and clients to develop innovative design solutions that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.
• Prepare section drawings, sampler board presentation with labelling, name of vendors and other relevant information for client's selection and approval.

About you

• Degree in Architecture
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Singapore/ Overseas
• Direct experience managing private landed residential projects (e.g., piling, substructure, RC works, details of architectural finishes) is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations and construction standards applicable in Singapore
• Ability to interpret complex structural, architectural, and M&E blueprints flawlessly
• Proficient in producing comprehensive architectural shop drawings and technical details.
• Skilled in translating design concepts into precise construction and shop drawing
