Design Architect

Job Purpose:

AIM Consultants Ltd. is seeking a talented and experienced Design Architect to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing architectural designs, preparing technical drawings, and supporting the delivery of projects from concept through to construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, designs, layouts, and presentations based on project requirements.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Produce 2D drawings, 3D models, renderings, and visual presentations.
• Coordinate architectural designs with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other consultants.
• Incorporate client feedback and project requirements into design development.
• Conduct site visits and provide design support during project execution.
• Prepare and review architectural documentation for tender and construction purposes.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant building regulations, standards, and project requirements.
• Work closely with project teams to ensure timely delivery of design requirements.
• Represent AIM Consultants Ltd. during assigned LABSCA engagements and visits, including liaising with relevant stakeholders, attending site/office visits, and providing updates on observations, opportunities, and relevant industry developments to the management team.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in architectural design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; knowledge of SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, or other 3D visualisation software is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design, detailing, and construction documentation.
• Experience working on residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, or mixed-use projects.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong design, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
• Professional registration with ARCON and NIA membership is required.
