Design Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Create accurate and detailed 3D architectural models using SketchUp, based on architectural drawings, design concepts, and project requirements.
• Produce complex 3D models, ranging from building components and architectural details to furniture, fixtures, and custom elements.
• Demonstrate efficient and proficient use of SketchUp tools, commands, extensions, and plugins to achieve high-quality and accurate models.
• Analyze architectural drawings and design concepts and effectively translate the design intent into clear, detailed, and visually accurate 3D models.
• Develop architectural 3D models and visual presentations/renderings for design development, client presentations, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with architects and the design team to ensure that 3D models accurately reflect the approved design, specifications, and project requirements.
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and organization of 3D model files throughout the design process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Preferably 2–5 years of professional experience in architectural design, 3D modeling, or a related field.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SketchUp, with strong knowledge of modeling techniques, commands, tools, extensions, and plugins.
• Proficient in Lumion for architectural visualization and rendering.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and the ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical plans.
• Strong understanding of architectural design, space planning, materials, and detailing.
• Strong visual communication, presentation, and design interpretation skills.
• Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and within project deadlines.
• Experience working on a variety of architectural projects is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to translate design concepts into accurate and visually compelling 3D models.
