Design Architect - Retail Business

Job Summary

The Architect Designer is responsible for developing architectural concepts, detailed drawings, and coordinating with project teams to ensure smooth project execution. The role supports design development from concept to completion, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and compliance with local regulations. Experience in retail projects and knowledge in MEP is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Create architectural concepts, layouts, and detailed design drawings.
• Prepare 2D/3D design presentations, plans, sections, elevations, and construction details.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants (structural, MEP, and contractors).
• Ensure all designs comply with local building codes and company standards.
• Conduct site visits to verify measurements and monitor design implementation.
• Work with retail and operations teams to support store layout planning and customer flow.
• Review and align architectural drawings with MEP requirements.
• Assist project managers with documentation, material selection, and project reports.
• Participate in design meetings and propose design solutions.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings and design packages.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• 2–5 years of architectural design experience (retail experience is a strong advantage).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar design tools.
• Good understanding of construction materials and standards in Cambodia.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge in MEP is a plus.
