Design Assistant

Our firm is currently seeking a Design Assistant to support our team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, computer literate, capable of multitasking and working under pressure, have an eye for design, and have experience with or willing to learn: measuring, take-off software and bidding, and how to read architectural plans. The Design Assistant will work directly with the owner and will be responsible for answering phones, scheduling calls and appointments, assisting customers with material selections, updating the company's internal databases, performing general administrative tasks, ordering and tracking material, and helping with customer bids.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assisting with material selections and bids
• Measuring jobs
• Material ordering and tracking
• Coordinating calendars and schedules to meet company deadlines
• Provide administrative support
• Manage supplies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
