Design Consultant

Are you a motivated and results-driven individual with a knack for building strong customer relationships? We’re looking for a Sales Superstar to join our awesome Wellington branch!

You’ll work with a wide range of customers, from home renovators to interior designers, so an adaptable personality, a passion for design, and outstanding customer service will help you succeed.

Tile Space has been proudly New Zealand-owned and operated for over 30 years, building a strong reputation as a leading provider of premium tiles from around the world.

As a Design Consultant, you’ll play an important role in helping our customers bring their ideas to life and create beautiful spaces.

This is a full-time, permanent role, rostered Sunday to Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service, respond to customer enquiries and ensure a positive experience.
• Client Consultation: Work closely with customers to understand their design preferences, lifestyle and project requirements.
• Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with the latest trends in tiles, flooring and interior design, and provide expert product advice.
• Sales: Meet and exceed achievable sales targets, present products, close sales, and maintain accurate sales records.
• Design Solutions: Create tailored design solutions that align with customer preferences and project requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion or interest in interior design.
• Self-motivation and a drive to exceed sales targets.
