Design Consultant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Design Consultant to join our team. This role involves guiding clients through the selection and customization of interior design solutions, including lighting, furniture and accessories selections. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a keen eye for design, and experience in sales and customer service. As a Design Consultant, you will play a key role in creating inspiring spaces while providing exceptional service that drives high-end sales and fosters long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting products such as furniture, home accessories, lighting, etc.
• Conduct inside and outside sales, including upselling products and services to maximize client satisfaction and sales opportunities.
• Manage account details, process POS transactions, handle cashing out, and maintain accurate sales records.
• Maintain organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering excellent customer service.

Experience

• Proven experience in retail or inside sales with a focus on high-end or luxury products.
• Strong background in interior design, layout design, lighting sales, or related fields.
• Experience in negotiation, upselling, account management, and marketing strategies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to clients of varying backgrounds.
• Organizational skills to handle multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
