Design Control Manager

Design Control Manager is required for a multinational consultation company located in Cairo

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage design and engineering teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective resource allocation.
• Develop, implement, and maintain design control processes, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
• Manage the design lifecycle from concept to production, overseeing design reviews, documentation, risk management, and change control.
• Conduct internal audits, track non-compliance, manage corrective actions, and support quality investigations.
• Work closely with engineering, operations, and senior leadership to align designs with strategy, budgets, and customer expectations.
• Lead risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure products are designed for safety and manufacturability.
• Prepare and review design control documentation for regulatory filings, generate executive reports, and maintain quality records.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in architecture or engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in design management/control for large-scale projects.
• Proven experience in PM/CM/consultancy environments.
• Experience with multi-package procurement and construction interfaces.
• Experience on large mixed-use or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Strong reporting, documentation, and communication skills (English proficiency is a must).
• Familiarity with design management systems and document control processes.
• Experience with FIDIC-based PM/CM projects.
