What they need
About QP
Inspired by creativity. Driven by purpose. Built on collaboration.
At QP, we design, engineer and manage the built environment with a deep commitment to quality, sustainability and innovation. Working across countries and cultures, our teams collaborate to deliver iconic, meaningful and future-focused projects for a diverse international client base.
As our organisation continues to grow locally and internationally, we are seeking a Design Coordinator to join our team.
Role purpose
As a Design Coordinator, you will coordinate design and technical deliverables across multiple disciplines to support project leads in maintaining programme, quality, documentation control, and stakeholder alignment. This role goes beyond Architecture and Interior Design and requires close coordination with Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers, MEP / Building Services Engineers, and external consultants to ensure information flows accurately, on time, and in line with project requirements.
Key responsibilities
Multidisciplinary Design and Technical Coordination
- Coordinate design and technical deliverables across Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, and MEP / Building Services Engineering.
- Liaise with external consultants, specialist designers, and technical advisors to ensure timely input, alignment, and issue resolution.
- Support project leads in managing design interfaces between internal disciplines and external stakeholders.
- Track design dependencies, technical queries, clashes, missing information, and coordination actions through to closure.
Project Documentation and Deliverables
- Coordinate design packages, deliverable schedules, and submission requirements across all relevant disciplines.
- Manage drawing registers, document control, transmittals, action trackers, RFIs, and revision logs.
- Assist in compiling submission packages for client, authority, consultant, and contractor review.
- Ensure all issued information follows project standards, naming conventions, version control, and filing protocols.
Meetings and stakeholder follow-up
- Prepare meeting agendas, record minutes, and maintain action logs.
- Follow up internal teams and external consultants to ensure deadlines and coordination actions are met.
- Support clear communication flow between QP, clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and specialist advisors.
Quality and programme support
- Support coordination reviews to identify inconsistencies, gaps, conflicts, or missing technical input early.
- Help monitor deliverables against programme and flag risks, delays, and coordination bottlenecks.
- Maintain visibility on design decisions, scope changes, and client instructions to reduce rework and protect delivery.
What you bring
- Experience in a design coordination role within a multidisciplinary consultancy, architecture studio, engineering practice, or similar project-based environment.
- Strong understanding of coordination across Architecture, Interior Design, Civil, Structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Confidence in dealing with both internal teams and external consultants.
- Excellent organisation, follow-up discipline, and document control accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with a professional, client-ready approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and document control systems is an advantage.
- Proactive, structured, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to keep multiple stakeholders aligned.
What Success Looks Like
- Design and technical information across all disciplines is coordinated, visible, and well managed.
- Internal teams and external consultants are aligned and deliver on time.
- Risks, clashes, and missing inputs are identified early, reducing delays and rework.
- Project leaders can rely on accurate logs, clear follow-up, and strong submission readiness.
What we offer
- High-impact role in a fast-growing, international environment.
- Exposure to complex, high-profile projects and cross-disciplinary teams.
- Clear development pathway and the opportunity to shape planning standards at QP.
- Competitive package aligned to experience.
