Design Coordinator

Infinity Constructions is now seeking a proactive and organised Design Coordinator to assist the Design Manager in coordinating design activities for our projects.
  
In this role, you will support the preparation of design documentation from the initial brief through to “For Construction” stage, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. You'll monitor and review design documents to resolve any discrepancies, errors, and clashes, and assist in managing the shop drawing approval process.
  
You will help maintain the design register, liaise with consultants and subcontractors, and ensure all necessary documentation is available for the timely award of trade packages. Participation in design meetings and workshops, preparation of design management plans, and tracking project progress will also be key responsibilities.
  
Additionally, you’ll assist in managing Safety in Design risk registers, issue and track RFIs through Commnia, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality policies.
  
Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Architecture or equivalent qualification.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Experience in design management or construction project coordination.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with design processes and relevant software tools.
