Design Engineer (6 Month contract)

Role & responsibilities

• Strong experience on Catia
• Experience on schematic designing.
• Hands-on experience with electrical systems in Metro, Light Rail, or EMU rolling stock
• Strong understanding of harness design, wiring, and integrated/CPS schematics
• Knowledge of train systems and the railway industry (preferred)
• Familiarity with system interface requirements
• Experience in selection and sizing of electrical components, including: 1. Switchgear 2. Protection devices 3. Circuit breakers (CB) 4. Relays and contactors; correct formate 5. Connectors, terminals, and related components
• Understanding of applicable railway standards
• Knowledge of key rolling stock subsystems such as traction, door control, and communication systems
• Ability to interpret and understand overall vehicle architecture
