Design Engineer / Assistant Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• To prepare design drawings on curtain wall, window wall, aluminium works or metal works according to requirement from clients, consultants and architects
• To liaise with architects, clients, consultants on the design matters
• To get approval of drawings from relevant parties including proper authorities
• To perform checking on the fabrication drawings and bills of materials
• Report to and co-ordinate with design manager and project manager in fulfilling the key dates of the project until completion

Requirements

• Higher diploma or diploma in building studies or engineering or related disciplines, preferably in curtain walls and aluminium works
• Minimum three years relevant experience in similar capacity in the industry of glazing, aluminium or metal works and specialize in curtain wall, glass wall and exterior façade systems
• Less experience will be considered to offered as Assistant Design Engineer
• AutoCAD operating skill and experience is essential
• Holder of BIM professional certificate/training course certificate from technical institute/software companies will be an advantage
• Familiarized with Microsoft office software
• Self-motivated, good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
