Design Engineer - Cero / SolidEdge

Position: Design Engineer - Creo / Solid Edge
Experience: 2-6 Years
Location: Pune
Qualification: BE / B.Tech - Mechanical

Key Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and 2D detailed drawings using Creo / Solid Edge.
• Design and detail structural steel components and assemblies.
• Design, model and detail industrial ductwork / ducting systems.
• Prepare fabrication, manufacturing and assembly drawings.
• Prepare and maintain BOMs.
• Apply GD&T, tolerances and welding symbols as required.
• Work on sheet metal and fabrication detailing.
• Coordinate with manufacturing/fabrication teams to resolve design and production issues.
• Ensure drawings and designs comply with project specifications, engineering standards and quality requirements.
• Support design modifications, drawing revisions and engineering changes.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in Creo or Solid Edge.
• Strong 3D modelling and 2D detailing skills.
• Experience in structural steel / welded structures.
• Experience in industrial ductwork / ducting design and detailing.
• Knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Good understanding of BOM, GD&T and fabrication drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

• Sheet metal design and fabrication detailing.
• Experience with large assemblies.
• Manufacturing/shop-floor coordination.
• Knowledge of engineering standards and specifications.
