Design Engineer- Chassis

• Design and develop chassis components, including wheels, brakes, subframes, engine mounts, fuel system components, suspension systems, and steering systems.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models using CATIA V5 and CATIA V6/3DEXPERIENCE.
• Generate and update 2D engineering drawings in accordance with drafting standards.
• Create and manage 3D annotated models using CATIA V6/3DEXPERIENCE.
• Ensure compliance with design requirements, packaging constraints, quality standards, and manufacturability considerations.
• Perform basic CAE studies using CATIA embedded solvers, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA).

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience in automotive design and development.
• Experience in chassis component design and development.
• Working knowledge of CATIA V6/3DEXPERIENCE.
• Understanding of automotive chassis systems and vehicle packaging.
• Experience in 2D drafting and GD&T principles.
• Basic CAE analysis experience (FEA, vibration, and structural analysis).
• Strong engineering calculation and problem-solving abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 automotive suppliers is preferred.
• Familiarity with automotive design release processes and change management.

This position involves working with advanced CAD software and performing CAE analysis in a dynamic and collaborative team environment. The role requires attention to detail and compliance with high-quality standards in engineering design.
