Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop dies, patterns, and related tooling as per product and process requirements.
• Prepare and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using appropriate CAD software.
• Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles while preparing engineering drawings.
• Develop die and pattern designs considering manufacturability, quality, cost, and production requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Process Engineering, and other departments for successful implementation of new products.
• Review and optimize existing die and pattern designs to improve quality, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage and track the New Product Development (NPD) pipeline and portfolio.
• Support the successful launch of new products within defined timelines and quality standards.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of drawings, design data, and engineering records.
• Identify and resolve design-related issues during development and production.
• Ensure all designs comply with approved engineering standards and customer requirements.
• GD&T knowledge is mandatory.
• 3D Modeling and 2D Drafting knowledge is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Die Design and Pattern Design.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and tooling requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of design standards, tolerances, and material specifications.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
