About the Role

Aehr Test Systems Philippines, Inc. is looking for a PCB Design Engineer (Entry-Level) to join our Research & Development team in Clark, Pampanga. This role provides hands-on experience in the design, development, and testing of electronics test equipment (ATE) and wafer probecards, with mentorship from senior engineers. Aehr operates in the wafer test burn-in equipment and IC reliability testing industry, and offers a compensation package that is above industry standards in the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities

·        Assist in designing wafer probecards using Allegro PCB tools.

·        Perform basic analyses and simulations to evaluate design performance.

·        Support prototyping, testing, and documentation activities.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to achieve project goals.

·        Prepare technical drawings and specifications for wafer test ATE equipment.

·        Help troubleshoot technical issues during development and production.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 0–5 years of experience in electronics or electrical engineering.

Technical Skills

·        Understanding of electronics and electrical design fundamentals.

·        Knowledge of digital power and analog electronics; analog design experience is an advantage.

·        Exposure to PCB design tools such as Allegro or similar software.

·        Familiarity with simulation tools or programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, or related tools.

·        Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

Additional Requirements

·        In-office role based in Clark, Pampanga (1-day remote work arrangement may be allowed).

·        Candidates should be located near Clark or willing to relocate.

·        Willingness to travel occasionally for business requirements.

·        Successful candidates will receive training in intermediate PCB design and manufacturing principles.
