Design Engineer

• Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and prepare 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for products, components, and systems.
  • Design and modify engineering components based on customer and project requirements.
  • Perform engineering calculations, design analysis, simulations, and testing.
  • Select suitable materials, components, and manufacturing methods.
  • Prepare technical drawings, specifications, bills of materials (BOM), and other engineering documentation.
  • Review designs to ensure functionality, reliability, safety, manufacturability, and cost effectiveness.
  • Develop prototypes and conduct testing and validation of new or modified designs.
  • Identify design issues and implement improvements or corrective actions.
  • Liaise with production, manufacturing, quality, procurement, suppliers, and customers on technical matters.
  • Support the production team in resolving design and engineering-related issues.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant engineering standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update engineering drawings, design records, and technical documentation.
  • Participate in product development, continuous improvement, and cost-reduction initiatives.
