DESIGN ENGINEER

Roles and responsilbities:

1. Prepare cost effective & optimum design solution on customized scaffolding as per project/ client requirements in line with industry standards;
2. Prepare drawings, calculations and material list efficiently;
3. Review and ensure the safety, feasibility, and functionality of designs, with a focus on structural aspects, considering factors such as constructability, maintainability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability;
4. Offer technical support to sales and project departments, including tendering and on-site construction;
5. Coordinate with various stakeholders such as sales engineers, clients, consultants, and/or contractors for projects; and
6. Efficiently manage additional ad-hoc tasks delegated by the management.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree / Professional Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Autocad, and knowledge in other software (Solidworks, Revit, Sketchup, and Microstation) will be an added advantage
• Familiarity with architectural, civil, electrical, or mechanical drafting.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English and ability to read and converse in Mandarin will be an added advantage
• Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
