Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities:

• To study the drawing and customer requirement.
• Communication with customer if any deviation and change required.
• Checking 2D drawing and 3D model
• Prepare die layout
• Select machine tonnage as per requirement
• Shot model preparation
• Core and cavity splitting
• 2D and 3D tool design preparation
• CFT meetings to repeat tools
• Ensure component casting and machining drawing release at shop floor • Study the drawing requirements and prepared technical feasibility
• Maintain 5S department
• Ideas providing for improvement/Kaizen/UC, UA, NM

Preferred candidate profile:

• 7-10Yrs of Experience in Tool Design HPDC
• Knowledge of CAD software (NX)
• Knowledge of simulation result interpretation
• Knowledge of drawing studies and GD&T
• Awareness of system related documents like IATF, ISO
