Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare 2D & 3D engineering drawings as per project requirements.
• Design and develop PP/PPH tanks, PP ducting systems, scrubbers, industrial equipment and fabrication components.
• Prepare GA drawings, fabrication drawings, layouts and BOMs.
• Review customer/project specifications and convert them into manufacturing drawings.
• Coordinate with Production, Estimation, Purchase and QC teams.
• Make design modifications based on production and site requirements.
• Ensure drawings are accurate and comply with required standards and specifications.
• Prepare material specifications and assist the Purchase team with technical requirements.
• Resolve fabrication-related design issues in coordination with the production team.
• Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions and technical documents.
• Support cost optimization and design improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD; knowledge of SolidWorks will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of PP/PPH materials, tanks, ducting and industrial equipment is preferred.
• Good understanding of dimensions, tolerances, BOM and material specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
