Design Engineer

SENSION ENGINEERING SDN BHD are seeking a talented Engineer (Design) / Drafter to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining Building Information Modelling (BIM) models and drafting engineering drawings to support our clients' diverse projects. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality, innovative solutions that exceed our customers' expectations.

We do not need you to be an expert in our industry, but we are willing to train and guide you. Hence, we are looking for someone who is curious, critical thinking, creative, and collaborative.

What do we need from you?

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering drafting, preferably in the construction or engineering industry

• Good understanding of engineering practice of HVAC systems & drawings.

• Proficiency Revit software, as well as AutoCAD and other CAD tools

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, accurate work

• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

• A relevant diploma or degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field

• Ability to work extra times

What do we need you to do?

• Prepare HVAC drawings based on given specifications & calculations.
• Making the drawings in keeping with the standards and terms of the company.
• Calculate dimension and allowance with accurate precision.
• Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate charges and enhancements.
• Plot the drawing sets.
• Generate 2D and 3D engineering drawings, plans, and schematics.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the drawings
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our drafting processes and standards.
• Accommodate safety procedures and issues in installation and construction drawings.
• Designing HVAC systems for residences, commercial buildings, and high rises.
• Prepare duct and pipe loss calculations.
• Develop & prepare a draft design & diagram according to the given specifications.
• Compile design data & specification sheets.
• Plan and monitor the work schedule to ensure timely completion.
