Design Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

• Design and development of industrial valves, tube fittings, and related components.
• Prepare and review 2D/3D drawings, manufacturing drawings, and BOMs.
• Perform design calculations, material selection, tolerance and GD&T requirements.
• Knowledge of corrosion monitoring and corrosion-resistant materials/applications.
• Review customer specifications and technical requirements.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable API, ASME, ASTM and other relevant standards.
• Support API 6D compliance, documentation, and audit requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, QC, Purchase, and Sales teams.
• Support prototype development, testing, and design improvements.
• Resolve technical and manufacturing-related design issues.

Required Skills Must Have

• API 6D knowledge is mandatory.
• API 6D Audit knowledge and experience is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Valve & Fitting design.
• Knowledge of corrosion monitoring and material compatibility.
• Experience with AutoCAD / SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Good understanding of GD&T, material specifications, pressure ratings, and design calculations.
• Good knowledge of relevant API/ASME standards.

Preferred

• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Process, or Valve & Fittings manufacturing industry.
• Exposure to API audits, customer audits, and certification requirements.
• Mumbai local candidates preferred.
