About the role
Design Engineer – Protection & Control role based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. This is a 12-month renewable contract position depending on performance.
Key responsibilities
- HV Protection & Control System Engineering
- Substation Control & Protection Design
- Protection Relay Configuration, Testing, Commissioning & Troubleshooting
- Control & Relay Panel Design
- Support site commissioning and project activities
About you
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in Protection & Control Engineering
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Automation / Control Engineering or related field
- Hands-on experience in HV Protection & Control System Engineering
- Experience in Substation Control & Protection Design
- Experience with Protection Relay Configuration, Testing, Commissioning & Troubleshooting
- Experience in Control & Relay Panel Design
- Knowledge of Power Systems, Substations & MV/HV Switchgear
- Experience with AutoCAD, E3 or equivalent design tools
- Good spoken and written English is mandatory
- Willingness to travel and support site commissioning and project activities
