Design Engineer

Job Overview
InLine Motion is seeking a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join their engineering team. This role involves designing product handling systems, creating detailed engineering drawings, generating purchase orders, and developing technical documentation. The position emphasizes growth, collaboration, and cross-training in manufacturing design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design product handling systems using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Produce engineering drawings for manufacturing
• Generate purchase orders via ERP software
• Develop technical manuals and documentation
• Collaborate with team members to improve designs and processes
• Cross-train to strengthen design-for-manufacturing capabilities

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles
• Positive attitude, initiative, and willingness to learn
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with conveyor or automation systems
• Food and beverage industry experience
• Knowledge of industrial controls or PLC programming

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
