Design Engineer

1. Design & Drafting Support

• Prepare 2D & 3D mechanical drawings for roller and belt conveyors
• Develop GA (General Arrangement) drawings, layouts, and assembly drawings
• Prepare detailed part drawings and fabrication drawings
• Modify and update drawings based on project requirements and site conditions
• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and manufacturability of designs

2. Project Engineering Support

• Study customer layouts, technical specifications, and project requirements
• Assist in concept design and system planning
• Support customized design development based on application needs
• Coordinate with project engineers for design finalization

3. BOM & Technical Documentation

• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Generate part lists, fabrication lists, and bought-out lists
• Maintain revision control and drawing documentation
• Support preparation of technical submittals and project documentation

4. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with Production, QC, Purchase, Stores, and Project teams
• Provide drawing clarifications and technical support to shop floor
• Support design modifications during manufacturing and assembly

5. Design Validation & Improvement

• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
• Suggest design improvements for cost, strength, safety, and manufacturability
• Support standardization of conveyor modules and components

6. Site & Commissioning Support (as required)

• Provide technical support during installation and commissioning
• Resolve design-related site issues and modifications

Authority & Accountability

• Authorized to prepare and modify drawings as per instructions
• Authorized to coordinate with internal teams for design clarification
• Accountable for accuracy of drawings, BOM, and documentation
• Responsible for timely completion of design tasks and project deliverables

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
