Position: Design Engineer

Industry: Submersible Pump Manufacturing

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop submersible pump components, assemblies and mechanical systems.
• Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks, Creo and AutoCAD.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, BOMs and manufacturing specifications.
• Perform component sizing, dimensional calculations and design validation.
• Coordinate with production, purchase and quality teams for smooth manufacturing.
• Modify existing designs based on production requirements and customer specifications.
• Ensure designs meet quality, performance, cost and manufacturability requirements.
• Maintain engineering drawings, design documents and revision records.
• Support prototype development, testing and troubleshooting of pump components.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of SolidWorks, Creo and AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of mechanical design, GD&T, engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of pumps, shafts, impellers, casings and other mechanical components will be an advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 1–5 Years in Mechanical Design / Pump Manufacturing

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹36,000.00 per month
