About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Design Manager to lead the engineering and drafting team, ensure high-quality AutoCAD, fabrication and PEB drawings, and maintain smooth coordination between design, production, project and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and mentor the design/drafting team.
• Prepare, review and validate engineering & fabrication drawings.
• Develop and review PEB drawings and documentation.
• Ensure drawings meet project specifications and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with production, project and site teams.
• Review designs for accuracy, tolerance and manufacturability.
• Manage ECOs, drawing revisions and technical clarifications.
• Ensure timely drawing releases as per project schedules.
• Resolve technical/drafting issues and provide hands-on guidance.

Required Skills

• Advanced AutoCAD & drafting skills.
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication and welding symbols.
• Hands-on experience in PEB drawing preparation.
• Mechanical design and detailing knowledge.
• Team leadership and work delegation.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

Preferred: Experience in heavy equipment, industrial fabrication or manufacturing.
