Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer (EPLAN) with experience in industrial automation panel design and project execution. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in EPLAN P8, AutoCAD, electrical schematic design, panel engineering, BOM generation, and coordination with clients, vendors, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Execution & Coordination

• Coordinate with clients to obtain detailed project design inputs and technical clarifications.
• Prepare and submit design drawings for client approval.
• Raise material indents and float RFQs to vendors.
• Perform technical evaluation of vendor quotations.
• Coordinate with the Purchase team for commercial negotiations and order placement.
• Follow up with vendors and procurement team for timely material delivery.
• Coordinate with panel builders to ensure timely panel manufacturing and delivery.
• Visit panel builders for quality inspections and prepare internal inspection reports.
• Coordinate and conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with clients.
• Obtain dispatch clearances from clients/consultants.
• Prepare packing lists, obtain acknowledgements, and coordinate invoice preparation and dispatch arrangements.
• Report to the Design Engineer and, in their absence, to the Project Manager.

Education

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
