Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Design Development:
• Lead and participate in the development of engineering designs from concept to completion.
• Utilize CAD software and other tools to create detailed designs, technical drawings, and prototypes.
• Apply engineering principles and best practices to optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency.
• Project Management:
• Manage design projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating activities across different teams.
• Ensure projects are completed within budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Technical Expertise:
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
• Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends and advancements in design engineering.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, propose solutions, and implement design improvements.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, present design proposals, and participate in design reviews.
• Foster a collaborative environment that promotes creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance:
• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct design reviews, perform quality checks, and validate design outputs.
• Implement corrective actions and improvements based on feedback and testing results.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation such as design specifications, technical reports, and project documentation.
• Generate progress reports, feasibility studies, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain organized records of design iterations, revisions, and project milestones.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹270,000.00 per year
