Design Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop industrial valves, particularly API 6D pipeline valves, in accordance with applicable standards and customer specifications.
• Prepare and review 2D drawings, 3D models, general arrangement drawings, and manufacturing drawings.
• Perform design calculations, material selection, and engineering analysis as required.
• Review customer specifications, technical datasheets, and tender requirements for design compliance.
• Coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and sales teams for design finalisation and product development.
• Support manufacturing, inspection, testing, and resolution of technical issues.
• Maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, design documents, and revision records.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in the design of industrial valves, preferably API 6D ball valves and pipeline valves.
• Knowledge of API 6D, ASME, and other applicable valve design standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or equivalent.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, material specifications, and valve testing requirements.
