Design Engineer

What you will do Design Engineer This position requires the ability to work under CAD Engineer and execute the 3D & 2D design work with first time right quality as per the company standards. How you will do it • Create 2D drawings and 3D CAD files according to company standards. • Design parts according to company standards and create bill of materials. • Utilize company part libraries, standard design concepts, and design guidelines for CAD Design. • Proficient in engineering software programs, including AutoCAD Release 10 through 2016, 3D Modelling, Autodesk Inventor. • Produce drawings and maintain, archive, and retrieve CAD files and drawing documents for the completion of various commercial projects. • Prepare submittal drawings for customer approval & manufacturing clearance. • Prepare fabrication drawings, modifications, and commercial specification drawings in compliance with companys CAD standards. • Design and develop automated blocks to optimize drawing creation processes and save time & reduce errors. What we look for Required • B.E/B. Tech/M. Tech- Mechanical Engineering • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as Mechanical CAD Engineer for HVAC products. • Works in collaboration with other project team members to produce high quality drawings and 3D models. 2D drawings and 3D CAD files according to company standards. Must be aware of the mechanical and structural design requirement for HVAC equipment like Air Handling Units (AHU), Ecology Units, Louvers, Dampers etc. • Delivers drawings/models with required quality, meeting schedule, and improving cost of quality. Hands on experience on software’s like AutoCAD/Inventor (Must) • Prepare sheet metal, piping, plastic component drawings, modifications, and commercial specification drawings in compliance with company’s CAD standards design and drafting. • Demonstrates problem-solving skills. • Identifies issues/concerns & observations and works with team members to resolve. • Strong team player with ability to accommodate with change. • Ability to work under close supervision. Follows work instructions & defined processes. • Position requires interfacing with global stakeholders. \ o Ability to create and maintain productive relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders. o Demonstrate technical acumen to gain credibility amongst key internal stakeholders. o Good communication skills.
