Design Engineer

Job highlights

• Interact with engineers in China,USA and other VSESPL locations as required

Fluent in English and Hindi. Other languages is a plus.

1. Provide complete support for geared gearless and escalator machines of VSESPL
2. Troubleshoot the problem over the phone with clients all over India
3. Follow up with customers regularly to make sure the existing or previous issues are resolved
4. Develop new leads during site visit and provide to CRM team
5. Work on development projects to localize components in India
6. Help customers with AutoCAD drawings for machine room layout plan with help of Design team
7. Interact with engineers in China, USA and other VSESPL locations as required.
8. Take part in development of new products to suit the market need
9. Designing machine room layouts
10. Design machine bedplate for geared and gearless machines
11. Designing MRL layouts
12. Designing complete elevator layout
13. Prepare Bill of material for Full kit
14. Design GAD according to the shaft size provided by the customer
15. Visit jobsite to get correct details of shaft size
16. Assist in development of vendors for complete kits.
17. Assist in developing a hybrid (imported and local components) complete elevator kit for Indian market
18. Verify the components received from vendor
19. Trouble shoot for any issues with kits or drawings supplied
20. Develop new sales from OEM or independent companies.
21. Follow up with customers regularly to make sure the existing or previous issues are resolved.
