Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using CATIA V5.
• Design and modify automotive components as per customer requirements.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
• Perform design changes and incorporate feedback from customers and internal teams.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and production teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Support product development, prototype development, and validation activities.
• Maintain design documentation, BOMs, and engineering change records.
• Ensure designs comply with quality standards and project requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• 28 years of experience in automotive component design.
• Strong hands-on experience in CATIA V5.
• Knowledge of 3D modelling, 2D drafting, and assembly design.
• Understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of automotive product development processes.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
