Design Engineer

Job Overview:

Greens Surgicals Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our Orthopaedic Implant & Surgical Instrument manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for product design, drafting, development, and preparation of manufacturing-related design documents in compliance with industry standards.

Daily reporting by end of the day to Production Officer by CC to General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Orthopaedic Implants and Surgical Instruments using CAD software.
• Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
• Modify and improve existing product designs as per manufacturing and customer requirements.
• Create and maintain design-related documentation such as BOM, drawings, specifications, and ISO-standard documents.
• Coordinate with Production and Quality departments for design feasibility and manufacturing support.
• Work on Sheet Metal components, Mold Design, Bending Dies, and related tooling concepts.
• Support product development activities from concept to production stage.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable standards and manufacturing requirements.
• Participate in product testing, validation, and continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Preferably experienced in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of:
• 3D Design & Drafting
• Assembly Design
• Mechanical Design Fundamentals
• Product Design & Manufacturing Processes
• Knowledge of:
• Sheet Metal Design
• Mold Design
• Bending Die Concepts
• Ability to prepare ISO-standard documentation and BOM.
• Basic understanding of FEA and Simulation will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in computer skills and MS Office.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
