Design Engineer

Job Description & Skill Requirement:

Support structural designs, work with the module manufacturing facility to develop

complete design on seismic, thermal and structural and coordinate structural design

with architectural / electrical / thermal / mechanical.

 BS in Mechanical Engineering with years of mechanical/structural experience

 Knowledge in AutoCAD / Autodesk

 Experience with Microsoft Office

 Experience in construction drawings and equipment specifications

 Knowledge of local and national building codes

 Work to compliance with federal, state building codes

 Design of mechanical parts, create designs and provide Schematic for

structural design aspects of the solution

 Static / Dynamic calculations

 Coordinate with Mechanical Engineer on thermal transfer calculations

 Welding procedure and inspection specification

 Develop Dimensional test procedure, structural load test procedure and

calculation, Quality control during execution

 Support all site module

 Work with fabrication teams and validate construction process, welding

specifications and inspection of the module
