Design Engineer (Electrical)

About the role

Smart Power Electric Corporation is seeking a qualified Design Engineer (Electrical) who is a Registered and Licensed Electrical Engineer to join our technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and reviewing electrical systems for various projects while ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare electrical designs, layouts, and technical drawings.
• Perform load calculations, fault analysis, and system sizing.
• Develop single-line diagrams, schematics, and electrical layouts.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and IEC standards.
• Conduct site inspections and technical assessments.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and contractors.
• Review BOQs, cost estimates, technical reports, and documentation.
• Review shop drawings and as-built plans.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Must be a Registered and Licensed Electrical Engineer (PRC).
• At least 2 years experience in electrical design or related field.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in both AutoCAD and Revit electrical design software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to conduct site work when required.
