Design Engineer - Mechanical

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical system designs based on client requirements and specifications.
• Perform equipment selection, technical drawings, and documentation using AutoCAD and design software.
• Ensure designs meet ASHRAE, LEED, PMEC, NBC, Fire Code, NFPA, and other standards.
• Contribute to all phases—schematic design, development, documentation, review, and construction support.
• Work with electrical, civil, structural, architectural, and construction teams for integrated designs.
• Provide assistance during construction, testing, commissioning, and turnover.
• Support project managers in monitoring schedules, resources, and risks.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design for building systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and HVAC design software (Carrier HAP, Daikin, Mitsubishi, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and building mechanical systems.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• High attention to detail, organizational ability, and teamwork mindset.
