Job Description – Elevator Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a well-qualified and experienced Elevator Design Engineer with a strong technical background in design and manufacturing. Candidates with prior experience in the elevator industry will be highly preferred.

Experience in sheet metal, fabrication, and mechanical design will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop elevator components, assemblies, and related mechanical systems.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and manufacturing drawings.
• Work on sheet metal components, fabrication drawings, and production-ready designs.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant safety standards, technical specifications, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with production, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution of designs.
• Review drawings, identify design issues, and implement necessary modifications.
• Select appropriate materials and optimize designs for cost-effectiveness and ease of manufacturing.
• Provide technical support to the production team and resolve design-related issues.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3–4 years of relevant design engineering experience.
• Prior experience in the elevator industry will be strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience in sheet metal design, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant 3D design software such as SolidWorks or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Candidates with experience in elevator manufacturing and component design will be given preference.
• Practical knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and production processes.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Job Details

• Position: Elevator Design Engineer
• Location: Noida Phase 2
• Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹45,000 per month, depending on experience and skills
• Experience: Minimum 3–4 years
