• Design Engineer-Mechanical Equipment

Key Responsibilities

• • Experience / exposure to basic and detailed engineering of Mechanical works
• • Preparation of Hydraulic Calculation, Pump Head Calculation, and Pipe Size Calculation
• • Knowledge on equipment selection for Pumps, Blowers, Mixers, Process equipment, SBR, digestors, gas holders, decanters, dosing system, Hydrolysis process, UV, Chlorination system, Heat Exchangers, HVAC system, Firefighting etc
• • Review of Mechanical Gas
• • Knowledge of Piping/Equipment support design, Design of platforms and pipe racks
• • Preparation of Equipment / System layouts, technical evaluation of Vendor offers etc
• • Knowledge of selection of material (MOC) of various components of equipment, pump head- system head curves calculations, preparation of BOQ's with specification
• • Checking vendor s equipment drawing & Technical specification as per tender requirement /client requirement
• • Meeting with Client and other stakeholders to get approval of the design, drawings and all other technical documents required to complete the project smoothly
• • Knowledge of design of piping system
• • 3D modelling with clash detection
• • Able to adopt cost effective / cost saving design
• • Capable of handling a small team

Qualifications

• • BE / B

  Tech

  or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering with experience of 4- 7 years

• • Experience on using piping software like Cadmatic, Auto CAD, Revit, Navisworks
• • Proficient in using various Indian design codes and standards
• • Experience of working in EPC / consultancy organization
• • Design experience in water/wastewater treatment sector will be preferred
