Design Engineer (New Grad/Junior Position)

Key Responsibilities**:**

• Transfer and manage engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM) received from headquarters
• Evaluate technical specifications for customer inquiries and support quotation preparation
• Prepare, review, and maintain drawings and BOMs, including translation handling where required
• Create detailed manufacturing drawings using Siemens NX CAD system
• Develop and maintain part lists, packing lists, and related documentation
• Collaborate closely with headquarters engineers and technicians on design coordination
• Implement minor design adaptations in coordination with customers and HQ design team
• Support production and quality teams in resolving design-related non-conformities
• Maintain and update master data records for engineered components and material codes
• Assist in developing quality inspection documents and processes
• Provide technical input for procurement of critical materials
• Support preparation of technical documentation and customer offers
• Deliver technical support to customers on engineering-related questions
• Design internal tools, devices, and special components as needed
• Contribute to technical evaluations for investment projects

Professional requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent (New Grad Welcome)
• Proficiency in at least one CAD system or experience in a design/engineering work
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes or railway engineering / trackwork (advantage)
• Solid technical understanding and problem-solving skills
