Design Engineer – Plastic Injection Mould | UG NX

We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer – Plastic Injection Mould with experience in UG NX / Siemens NX for designing plastic injection moulds and mould components.

Key Responsibilities

• Design plastic injection moulds using UG NX / Siemens NX.
• Develop 3D mould designs, parting surfaces, core & cavity, slides, lifters, inserts, and other mould components.
• Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings with proper GD&T, dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
• Analyze plastic components for DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and mould feasibility.
• Design mould structures including mould base, cooling system, ejector system, runner and gating system.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, production, and tooling teams for design feasibility.
• Modify mould designs according to customer requirements and engineering changes.
• Check mould designs for interference, assembly, and manufacturability.
• Prepare BOM and technical documentation.
• Support mould trials and resolve design-related issues during mould development.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Plastic Injection Mould Design.
• Good working knowledge of UG NX / Siemens NX.
• Knowledge of core & cavity, parting line, slides, lifters, ejectors, cooling, runners and gates.
• Understanding of plastic materials and shrinkage.
• Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Experience with mould standards such as HASCO / DME is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
