Design Engineer – Plumbing & Fire Fighting

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineering of Plumbing & Fire Fighting systems for residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare design calculations, layouts, shop drawings, schematic diagrams and detailed engineering drawings.
• Design domestic water supply, drainage, rainwater harvesting, sanitary and plumbing systems.
• Design fire protection systems including hydrant, sprinkler, fire pump room, hose reel and fire water tank systems.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, pump selection and equipment sizing as per project requirements.
• Prepare BOQ, material specifications and technical submittals.
• Coordinate with Architecture, Structural, HVAC, Electrical and other MEP disciplines to resolve design and site-related issues.
• Review drawings and ensure compliance with NBC, NFPA, IS codes and project/client specifications.
• Coordinate with site teams, consultants and contractors for design clarifications, RFIs and technical issues.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions and as-built drawings.
• Conduct design reviews and clash coordination with other disciplines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Plumbing & Fire Fighting design within Construction/EPC/MEP projects.
• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Experience in Hydraulic calculations and fire protection system design.
• Knowledge of NBC, NFPA and relevant IS standards.
• Good understanding of MEP coordination and construction practices.
• Ability to independently handle design deliverables and coordinate with project teams.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹11,443.36 - ₹60,000.00 per month
