Design Engineer (Project Hire)

The Primary and Secondary Design Engineer develops and reviews engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with project requirements. The role conducts analyses, prepares technical evaluations, and collaborates with engineers, construction teams, and clients to address project concerns and support successful execution.

The Transmission Line Design Engineer provides and recommends the best value of design that meets project requirements for operability, reliability, maintainability, and safety. He/She develops design standards and methodologies, and ensures the quality assurance of engineering designs for the projects.

Requirements:

• Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; Licensed Electrical Engineer.

• At least 1-5 years of Design Engineering experience in various projects such as relevant electrical (primary) design experience in various structures such as transmission and distribution systems, power plants, substations, buildings, and primary substation design.

• Experience in the design of secondary substations, with relevant secondary design engineering experience across various projects, including transmission and distribution systems, power plants, substations, and buildings.

• Proficient in using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, BIM Software, Sketch Up Pro, PLS - Power Line System, BIM Software etc.)

• Proficient in Google Earth, QGIS Mapping.

• Knowledgeable in PLS-Cadd is an advantage.

• Proficient in using Microsoft Operation Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project)

• Work Location: Ortigas, Pasig City

• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)

• Work Set-up: Work on site, WFH every other Friday

• Employment Status: Project Hire
